Game Changer
Meet the new MVP of your makeup bag. Lip liner is a makeup artist’s secret weapon to creating the freshest new look from the runways: The Ombré Lip. Clinique Colour Pro Saem Mool Jung shows how to get this artfully dramatic look in a flash. Think of the color gradient combo she used as a formula, and apply it to the pinks, reds and nudes you love. And trust us. This look is 100% wearable in real life. Your lips will look fuller, subtly contoured and totally on trend for fall.

Step 1: Trace your natural lip line with rick, dark lip liner, like Quickliner for Lips Intense in Intense Cranberry.

Step 2: Fill in your entire lip area using the same lip liner. This creates a base for the next layers of color.

Step 3: Apply a lipstick that is just a shade or two lighter than the lip liner you used. Use a brush to blend it into the lip liner base. Saem Mool used Clinique Pop Colour + Primer in Cherry Pop.

Step 4: Use a lip brush to blend a different, slightly lighter shade of lipstick only into to the middle of both upper and lower lips to complete the multi-dimensional ombré look. Seam Mool chose Clinique Pop Colour + Primer Poppy Pop.
